We are Don and Erin Vita, a husband and wife team who own and operate Hoosier Hospitality Consulting. Together, we bring decades of combined experience in the hospitality industry. Our expertise is the foundation of every hospitality consulting project we undertake.

Don Vita

I am a results-driven hospitality executive with four decades of industry experience, beginning at age 15 and culminating in leadership roles with world-class organizations such as Wyndham, Bon Appétit, and Wolfgang Puck. My expertise is comprehensive, encompassing new construction, large-scale re-branding initiatives, and the successful management of operations across casual dining, fine dining, and catering.

My foundation is strengthened by a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, and I maintain a deep commitment to industry standards as a ServSafe® Instructor and Proctor for the past 14 years. A proud and decorated veteran of the Gulf War, I bring a unique blend of discipline, leadership, and operational excellence to every project.

Erin Vita

An Indiana native, my career in hospitality management is built on both academic rigor and extensive field experience. I hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University.

I launched my practical career with Indiana State Park Inns, progressing through various roles to Assistant General Manager. This foundation led to expanded responsibilities as a District Manager overseeing six Extended Stay properties, providing me with a deep, practical understanding of hotel and restaurant operations, multi-unit management, and compliance.

As the Operations Manager for Hoosier Hospitality Consulting, I manage the firm's business and administrative operations while leveraging my expertise as a certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor. My combined experience in operational excellence and business strategy is dedicated to driving your company’s success.
