Indiana law requires that all licensed food service establishments have at least ONE person certified in food safety who is responsible for each physical business location.
Many establishments choose to have multiple Certified Safe Food Handlers. The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification meets the requirements of the Indiana law.
The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is nationally recognized and accredited. To date, more than 3 million ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certifications have been awarded. Class/exam sessions listed to the right are available for registration in our online store.
Enrollment is available for an entire 8-hour class, or for the exam session only. To enroll using your credit card or e-check, please visit our online store.
Custom Class Scheduling
HHC can offer classes at your location and on your schedule. A minimum enrollment of ten (10) people is required. Discounted class pricing is available for groups of ten or more. ServSafe Exam Scores & Certificates
Certification exam scores for paper exams are generally available within ten business days of the date of the exam from the National Restaurant Association. Scores for online testing are available immediately.
ServSafe no longer prints physical certificates. Instead, certificates can be printed by the certificate holder by visiting www.servsafe.com. Certificate holders need to create an account on the ServSafe website, then click on “My Account” and finally “My Certificates” to view or print their certificate. There is no charge for saving or printing the certificate.
If you’d like HHC to mail you a printed copy of your certificate, the fee is $7.50. Please contact us by phone to order a copy. Please note that HHC can only print certificates for those individuals who attended a class with HHC.
