Indiana law requires that all licensed food service establishments have at least ONE person certified in food safety who is responsible for each physical business location.
Many establishments choose to have multiple Certified Safe Food Handlers. The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification meets the requirements of the Indiana law.
The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is nationally recognized and accredited. To date, more than 3 million ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certifications have been awarded. Classes listed are available for registration.
Enrollment is available for an entire 8-hour class, or for the exam session only. To enroll using your credit card, click on the "Add to Cart" button for the class that you wish to enroll in.
Each student will require a ServSafe® Manager Sixth Edition text book (formerly ServSafe Essentials) with exam answer sheet which can be ordered to the right. If you own the text book already, answer sheet can be ordered separately. Shipping and delivery is typically within 48 hours in Indiana, but order as early as possible to allow time for studying prior to the class. You must bring your text book and answer sheet with you to your class. PLEASE NOTE that all exam answer sheet are delivered upon attendance in class and NOT shipped.

"Donald taught a ServSafe class in our county. He was an excellent instructor, keeping the trainees entertained with funny stories of his past experiences while teaching them valuable food safety lessons at the same time. Because of an emergency, one lady had to leave the class half-way through... he refunded her entire class cost. He is a happy, honest, hard-working, extremely knowledgeable fellow who wants to see all of his class attendees excel. If you need a great ServSafe instructor, I highly recommend Mr. Vita!"
