ServSafe® Allergens

The ServSafe Allergens certification is an online training program and exam that teaches food service staff how to identify, prevent, and respond to food allergies to protect customers. The course covers fundamental allergen knowledge, strategies for both front-of-house communication and back-of-house handling, preventing cross-contact, and emergency procedures like administering epinephrine. Importantly, this training focuses on the "Big 9" allergens and assists businesses in complying with all relevant federal and state allergen laws.
